I am a BACP registered counsellor and NCIP accredited supervisor, with extensive experience working with children and young people across education, local authority, and community settings.
Since March 2021, I have been working at Brunel SEN Multi Academy Trust at Churchward School, where I provide individual and group counselling to children and young people, as well as supervision and wellbeing support to staff. I also line manage the Pastoral Lead and Thrive Practitioners, contributing to the strategic development of mental health provision across the Trust. My role requires regular liaison with senior leadership teams, DSLs, CAMHS, and external agencies, ensuring safeguarding and best practice remain central to service delivery.
Previously, I worked as an On-Trak Youth Counsellor with Swindon Borough Council, delivering therapeutic interventions to vulnerable young people and supporting volunteer counsellors. I have also worked as a Part-Time Lecturer in Counselling, delivering Levels 1 and 2 qualifications, and I continue to maintain a private practice, offering face-to-face, online, and telephone counselling.
I hold a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Counselling Supervision (NCIP accredited), a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling. I also hold a Master Degree in Applied Psychology in Educational Psychology completed in 2001 and am a graduate member of the British Psychological Society, as well as an accredited Educational Psychologist in Portugal.
