I worked as a kitchen porter and pot washer, and assisted with cooking and preparing food occasionally when needed. I had to keep a clean a tidy work area that was in line with health & safety and food hygiene standards. I had to keep the stock of ingredients and supplies stocked up for example, alcohol for the bar and food for the kitchen. I had to make sure FIFO (first in first out) was in procedure, so stock rotation and made sure my uniform was kept clean, tidy and presentable.
