Roles and Responsibilities
- Management and 1st/2nd line support of the local network in Essex and larger UK wide networks
- Installation and configuration of wireless microwave radios (Motorola, Cambium Networks, Ubiquiti, Siklu, Siae and Ceragon etc)
- Installation and maintenance of equipment on towers, monopoles, chimneys and rooftops
- Configuration of Microwave radios, switches, routers, Wi-Fi Access Points via GUI and CLI interfaces.
- Radio link optimisation and frequency management
- Site surveys (Line of Sight and Physical Testing)
- Operation of MEWPs (Types 1B, 3A, 3B)
- Responsible for driving company vehicles to customers across the UK and Europe.
- Primary tower climber and installation engineer
Technical Apprentice (21st Nov 2016 – 21st Feb 2018)
