About

I believe I would be a strong fit for this role due to the communication and teamwork skills I have developed through both work experience and personal interests. My ambition to pursue acting after university has helped me build confidence, adaptability and strong social skills, which are important when working with both customers and colleagues. My interests in cycling and sports have also helped me work well with different types of people and build rapport easily in social environments.

In addition, photography has developed my creativity and attention to detail, while also giving me interests that help me connect with others. Overall, I am confident, approachable and able to contribute positively to a team environment.

Experience

Front of House at Cafe 472, Alnwick (2025-04 – 2026-09)

Front of house position greeting customers, working tills and serving food & drink. This role involved using coffee machines, UIs on tills and being warm and friendly to customers.
Required organisation and time management to efficiently serve food using order tickets and good communication with other staff and colleagues.
I had work experience placement for a week prior to this employment at the same company. This involved understanding and navigating how to properly use systems/equipment successfully and primarily developed my communication skills to where I am today.
