I worked as a writer and then senior editor on national magazines before moving into freelance work. I've continue to write for the nationals but am also commissioned to lead on projects and campaigns with a focus on education (reading, sport, recruitment, policy, inclusion, wellbeing, creative learning). I am often asked by clients to take complex documents and rewrite/edit for specific audiences to ensure accessibility and maximise engagement.

Over 10 years as a senior editor on national magazines and over 20 freelancing. As well as leading successful campaigns (via website and content creation, media liaison and event management) I've written three books and ghost written five for a leading educationalist.
I have a degree in English Literature and a postgrad diploma in Journalism Studies and have benefited from ongoing CPD training.
