About

I am a final-year Forensic Psychology student at Kingston University with experience in customer service, administration and supporting individuals in fast-paced environments. Through roles in childcare, hospitality and appointment coordination, I have developed strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to manage sensitive situations calmly and professionally. I am confident working independently and part of a team, and I'm particularly interested in student-facing roles where I can contribute to well-being and overall positive experience.

I am highly organised, approachable and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience

Tills Assistant - SQUIRES GARDEN CENTRES

(2021-09 - 2022-10)

At Squires, I gathered certain skills which will enable me to adapt quicker in a new and different work environment. I gained a great understanding of computer systems, as well as having learnt how to help with customers' need in a polite, friendly and professional manner.

Café Assistant (Seasonal) - M&S

(2022-10 - 2023-01)

At M&S I obtained skills such as communication and time keeping, when placing/delivering food and drink orders to customers.

Appointment Setter - TURNERS HEATING & PLUMBING

(2023-02)

I manage incoming customer queries via phone and email, arrange appointments and maintain accurate booking records in a fast-paced environment. In this role, I have developed strong communication and organisational skills while handling multiple tasks independently, resolving customer queries professionally, and processing payments. I regularly liaise with customers to provide clear information and maintain positive relationships.

Nursery Practitioner (Bank) - PERFECT START DAY NURSERIES

(2023-07 - 2024-07)

I was responsible for the wellbeing and safety of children from 4 months to 4 years of age (ranging from 12 – 30 children depending on which room I worked in on each shift). This role has given me some very valuable experience in providing excellent care for children, from providing them with three meals a day to planning fun activities for them to partake in to develop their learning and skills.

At Perfect

Start, I learnt the birth to five years and EYFS curriculum. After my first month of employment, I was given an achievement award by my manager in recognition of my hard work and ability to quickly adapt to the new skills required for the job. I have learnt a variety of skills from this role including tidiness, organization, interpersonal skills and duty of care.
