I have a passion for learning and for meeting people. When I volunteered in Hospital Radio, I became interested in developing my knowledge of systems and protocols; my work with estate agents and solicitors helped me to understand the legal implications of contracts and employment. I was lucky enough to spend many hours researching for my MA (with practical experience and critical approaches).
Posts in education included drama and literature, as well as drafting for presentations at meetings. Research is a favourite occupation, whether history, literacy, literature, drama or broadcasting. This is where I spend my free time!
I enjoy living and working in rural Shropshire. I'm interested in the ways our community has changed and grown in the last two decades with challenges for new residents and a rising tide of visitors in summer. I like to be involved in creative endeavours, applying both pragmatic and clerical skills to support projects.
I am organised and prompt, with confidence in writing and speaking after working in media, legal and teaching environments. I am also used to dealing with sensitive issues and documents, I have qualifications in several aspects of office life.
