Platform and SRE contractor specialising in infrastructure delivery that is secure and cost-controlled by default rather than by review. I design and build the provisioning pipelines that enforce an organisation's guardrails automatically — policy as code, evaluated before anything reaches an estate — and then put self-service APIs and frontends in front of them, so product teams can request the resources they need without raising a ticket, waiting on a platform queue, or learning Terraform. I deliver this across both major estates — Azure (Policy, landing zones, Bicep) and AWS (Control Tower, Service Control Policies, Config) — applying the same guardrail model to whichever cloud an organisation already runs on.

The result is a paved road: developers move faster because the safe path is the easy path, and the organisation gets provable compliance and predictable spend as a property of the system instead of an audit exercise.

Partnering directly with the CEO to design and build the company's AWS platform — infrastructure as code, deployment automation and the operational practices around them — in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Built platform APIs that automate developer workflows, including GitHub repository provisioning, replacing setup that previously required a platform engineer in the loop.
• Delivered a platform integration with Backstage, Spotify's developer portal, giving engineers one place to discover services and trigger provisioning actions.
• Built a suite of FinOps APIs surfacing cloud cost and usage data directly to the finance team, making spend legible outside the engineering org.
• Automated guardrails at creation time: AWS Control Tower applies defined rule sets as new infrastructure is provisioned, so environments are governed from the moment they exist.
• Currently implementing policy as code to hold cloud infrastructure inside Leora Dating's budget envelope — moving cost control from a monthly review into an enforced constraint.
