Recruited to lead end-to-end mold design, product development, and shop floor operations. Directed the complete lifecycle of plastic injection tooling from initial concept and DFM analysis through CNC machining, mold assembly, machine setup, and final production validation.

• Mold Design & Engineering: Spearheaded the design of complex, high-precision injection molds using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

• Process Optimization & Machine Setup: Led the physical installation of molds into injection molding machines. Dialed in processing parameters based on specific resin MDS/MSDS data to eliminate flash, short shots, warpage, and sink marks.

Progressed through increasingly responsible technical and leadership roles over a 6-year tenure, transitioning from hands-on CNC machining to department leadership, and ultimately into core mold design.

• Plastic Mold Designer (Final Role): Transitioned into the engineering department to design plastic injection molds. Created detailed 2D technical drafts and early 3D CAD models for mold bases, cavities, cores, and ejector systems.
• Machine Shop Head Department: Promoted to manage the machine shop floor. Supervised a team of machinists, managed production scheduling, ensured strict adherence to dimensional tolerances, and maintained shop safety and equipment calibration.
• CNC Milling Programmer (Initial Role): Programmed and operated CNC milling machines to fabricate complex mold components. Translated engineering drawings into precise G-code/M-code toolpaths, optimizing cutting speeds and feeds for various tool steels.
