hello my name is john i am 37 years old i have worked in health and social care since 2014, in the last two years i have worked with turning point scotland as a housing support worker helping people who are at risk of becoming homeless or who are homeless. i am an empathetic person and show compassion and none judgment towards the people who i work with, i am an easy going person and i listen and work hard to ensure that i carry out my job as professionally.

i have two years of housing support which i have been trained in naloxone training and online training courses that has helped me become a better support worker. i have experienced homelessness in 2020 and it opened my eyes to how homelessness can affect a person and has since made me a stronger person.

i have an svq 2 in health and social care.
