My role here was to assist with the entire running of the restaurant. I would both open and close the entire building by myself; this would include closing the bar and cashing up at the end of the day. I was also in charge of stock takes, ordering and training new staff members for both serving the floor and serving drinks/cocktails at the bar. I also spent time cooking in the kitchen due to absences from our head chef at the time.

I took over all the roles of the bar manager during my time at the restaurant. At first my job here was as a simple customer sales assistant, though due to my keen interest in cycling and knowledge and understanding of bikes, I was moved into the cycling departure to help repair and build new bicycles. I would make on the spot repairs for broken cycles and I would also build new order that would come in all while continuing to serve customers on the shop floor.
