I have completed my Bachelor’s degreefrom AIIMS in Medical Technology in Radiotherapy (Honors). I am trained in delivering the radiation treatment to the cancer patients. I have experience of teaching English and Biology in classroom setting as well private coaching. I volunteered in a trust school in India for 6 months as a Biology and English teacher. Currently I am pursuing my master's in bioinformatics from the University of West London.
I have 7 months of experience as a Radiotherapy Technologist at AIIMS (All Indi Institut o Medica Science) Bhubaneswar. My responsibilities included:
● Special immobilization treatment with Advance Techniques on the High Energy Linear Accelerator
● Assist medical physicist in planning treatment
● Patient simulation (thermoplastic mask & vacuum cushion) and CT imaging
● Preparation of electron blocks for beam shaping (Cerrobend blocks) and bolus
● Daily & weekly quality assurance of the respective equipment
● Patient scheduling & chart preparation and Proper log book maintenance.
● Worked on - Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator (High Energy), X-ray imaging simulation and CT Scanner.
