- Co Ordinating 45-day drivers and 40 Night drivers including subcontractors this includes time sheets, trailer check sheets, job description sheet, handing and collecting keys when drivers arrive back on site as I am on Front Desk on site.
- Check for outstanding containers that need to be collected to take to the train or lifted off on site, so trailers are empty to complete daily jobs.
- Plan drivers daily run 24 hours after they are published so they meet deadlines and times on the day.
- Making sure drivers are arriving in on time so the jobs that have been planned in their ETAs are met.
- Checking web fleet on an hourly basis to track vehicles and drivers.
- Setting up night drivers either to complete dock runs or train runs.
- Booking in drivers VBS's either for site, the train or docks when requested.
- Managing up to 60/70 bookings alone.
- Daily admin duties and answering phone calls.
- Managing and maintaining changes to daily runs if drivers are running behind on jobs to complete site runs.
