Katie Hazelden

I’m a motivated and adaptable creative with a strong background in graphic communication and illustration. My work spans across animation, book design, painting, and illustration, where I bring ideas to life through thoughtful design and attention to detail. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and approaches to create work that feels engaging, meaningful, and visually compelling.

I’m eager to apply my creativity and problem-solving skills to professional projects, while continuing to grow and develop my practice.

I have built a varied creative portfolio spanning graphic communication, 3D modelling, illustration, stop motion, 2D animation, book design, painting, and more. Through these projects, I’ve developed adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to bring ideas to life in visually engaging ways. I’m confident working both independently and collaboratively, and I enjoy problem-solving and finding creative solutions.

I graduated from Loughborough University with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication & Illustration, where I gained a strong foundation in design principles, visual storytelling, and creative problem-solving. My studies gave me hands-on experience in both traditional and digital media, and taught me how to apply my creativity across different formats and platforms.
