I'm a freelance proofreader and copy editor, who will correct spelling, grammar and punctuation and also fix inconsistencies in a document. I can also revise sections of text to improve clarity and concision.

I'm a native English speaker with experience and knowledge of proofreading in UK and US English, and I'm also used to working with style guides.

I have experience proofreading and editing a range of documents, including personal statements, CVs, academic essays and research proposals, business reports, websites, blogs and fiction. But my background is in business management and marketing, so I have a particular interest in proofreading business documents, online content and customer communications.

I've worked as a freelance proofreader and copy editor for the last two and half years and have experience editing a range of different documents. I have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt to change.

Prior to that, I worked for several years in management within the financial services sector, with a particular focus on marketing and product development.

I have a degree in Business Administration with Spanish from Cardiff University. I've also completed a proofreading training course with Proofreading Academy.
