In my last role, I spent 8 years as Operations Manager for a luxury pet care facility in an exclusive part of Auckland. I was responsible for the day-to-day running of reception, a doggy daycare caring for up to 120 dogs daily, a dog hotel, cattery, and grooming salon, leading a team of 20–25 staff. This high-end service environment required consistently meeting the expectations of a diverse and discerning clientele.
My role covered full recruitment and hiring processes, staff onboarding and ongoing training, auditing for SPCA certification, and compliance with health and safety regulations. I also managed building operations, inductions, and ensured smooth coordination across all departments
A-Levels; Pet First Aid Certificate; in-house training in Fear-Free and Positive Reinforcement methods; Dog Behaviour & Body Language training. Currently enrolling in a UK HR course to strengthen knowledge of employment law and regulations and apply my management experience more effectively in the UK.
