About

I am a calm, comforting, and creative person. As I am part of a large family, I have been helping change nappies since I was quite young. As I got older, I would be asked to babysit and keep the children entertained.

Over time my aunties and uncles asked me to babysit their children, and I still do look after my cousins today. After finishing my Public Services Level 2, where I thought I wanted to support the community, I felt that it was not the direction I wished to go. Having seen how my siblings were supported in nursery, and how I love to help them at home, I would find it more rewarding helping children grow and develop.

This is why I wish to gain the skills I need to succeed in my apprenticeship. I am not sure where I will be able to take my childcare career, but I know I want to support children.
