Worked as a playout controller for nine years, managing the live broadcast operations for the WTA Tour. Responsible for setting up and managing incoming satellite and IP feeds, ensuring seamless delivery of live tennis coverage to international clients. Oversaw the setup and playout of tournaments, including adding on-screen graphics, slates and titles, and maintaining the integrity of the live feed throughout each event.
Acted as the first point of contact for any technical issues with the feed, often troubleshooting and resolving problems in real-time within a high pressure, time sensitive environment. Responsibilities included setting up live feeds for journalists in the field, checking and adjusting audio and video levels and performing quality control on media before it went to air.
