• Strategic sourcing of new Suppliers and negotiating favourable terms.
• Maintain the approved supplier listing to ISO standards, ensure all appropriate standards and legal requirements are met.
• Control costs of equipment purchases in line with project cost estimates.
• Working with Inventory and logistics to provide vendors with forecasts to obtain best rates.
• Negotiate savings where possible to improve profitability.
• Respond to all supplier and internal queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Performing all purchasing activities. Include use of ERP to procure requisitions placed by engineering and raising purchase orders • Liaise with accounts department regarding new customer terms and payments.
• Able to quickly learn and work with new processes
