Provision of consistent and individual support to 56 ESMA governed EU Regulators onboarded to DTCC plus the FCA and the Bank of England. Liaison to other Trade Repositories LSEG, Regis TR, KDPW and ICE.
- Report directly to the Business Heads of the UK and EU Senior Managers and Board members
- Stakeholder as part of the London Management team and across 5 locations
- Escalation to European Business Management in Dublin for all EU Regulators high risk or ESMA flagged issues and UK Business Management for the FCA and Bank of England
- Current Chair of the Inter Trade Repository EU & UK EMIR Working Group, agenda creation and provision of shared minutes
- Member of EU & UK SFTR Inter Trade Repository Working Group whose aim includes reviewing Inter TR regulatory schema interpretations and agreeing streamlined procedures, SLA's and other shared documentation
- Known first point of Regulator contact, query logging and assessment, tracking via SalesForce for audit purposes and ensure resolution to conclusion with other necessary business areas
- Relationship building with all Regulators to maintain high confidence and provide knowledgeable support
- Onboarding of EU & UK EMIR & SFTR Regulator accounts, review of requested data mandates before presenting to Compliance for final agreement
- Currently working with MiFIR Product management with initial engagement outreach to Regulators technical support teams and Compliance departments in readiness for DTCC becoming a MiFIR ARM in 2026
- Audit checking upon Account completion, continuation of hand hold service with Regulator including the Global Trade Repository (GTR) Connectivity team
- Testing of connectivity IP addresses changes and upgrades both internally and externally
- Consultations with internal Product Managers, Client Services, Connectivity, Billing, Onboarding, Audit, Legal and Compliance teams to resolve raised Regulator or other TR queries
- Arrange and chair TEAM's or ZOOM meetings between Regulators, Onboarding and Product management teams
- Support and training of the BAU Regulatory team based in Wrexham and Chennai
- Working closely with technical support for back reporting and retransmission of missing or corrupted Regulator data files

- Provision of Periodic Reporting figures for ESMA quarterly T32, T35 and monthly T36 Regulator reports for Compliance upload via the ESMA portal Tresorit
- Pairing and Matching dashboard analysis, escalation of high NACK volumes to Client Services representatives

- Checking of LEI data using GLIEF and product via ANNA ISO database

Fixed term contract. To provide a complete review and rebuild of the current BAU system after internal changes whilst highlighting to Senior Management and Compliance the outstanding issues and breaches. Creation of full sftp file processes which were currently not complete and handover and train new junior team members and the new Head of Regulation.
Regulations covered: MiFIR, Best Execution, Commodity Positioning Reporting, APA, EMIR, SFTR, Dodd Frank Large Trader part 20. ARMS – UnaVista, DTCC, Bloomberg RHUB / APA / GPI management.
- Removal of existing manual file creations and uploads and replaced with sftp structure via Visualcron servers
- Exception and Rejection management UnaVista, Bloomberg RHUB and DTCC– instigate static data changes, analyse in depth root causes and apply solutions triggered by On-Boarding, Clearing and Reconciliation issues
- Co-ordinate with Business Development and proactively document via JIRA, fix, test and release changes to Production
- Vendor, Exchanges and Regulator communications to resolve outstanding existing issues and to create a single team point of contact for the future
- Create new BAU controls, KPI's / KRI's and ensure new Governance committees are put in place, review desk procedures and diarise 6 monthly checks and reviews
- Raise to Senior Management, Risk and Compliance significant found breaches that could impact on the company's business and financial reputation
- Completion of FCA breach forms for MiFIR and EMIR
- Open communications with Stakeholders of Risk, Compliance and Operations to advise of outstanding and newly found issues and breaches on a regular basis
- Review and amend vendor SLA agreements and contracts
- Negotiation of better terms to save on financial costs and ensure the service provided is relevant to the business structure
- Document and ensure swift payment of vendor invoices to avoid creating breaches

SGIL governance and oversight structuring and maintaining controls including outsourcing and business risk. Regulations covered: MiFIR, EMIR, Dodd Frank 43/45/20, OCR, Canadian, ASIC, IA Segregation, Bank of Israel, AMF, BaFIN.
