About

MA in Philosophy (Vilnius University, magna cum laude, 9.8/10) with a background in logic and philosophy of mathematics. At the National Library of Lithuania I worked as an editor of the national encyclopaedia and set up AI-assisted editorial workflows, with written standards for AI output and human review of every draft.

That work raised the questions I want to pursue: how we can tell when AI output, or a test of an AI system, is reliable enough to act on, and what that means for regulation. Working knowledge of the EU AI Act and its implementation in Lithuania.

Experience

Senior Scientific Editor — Philosophy, Theology & Logic at Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania, Science and Encyclopedia Publishing Centre (2026-09 – 2026-10)

  • Curated the philosophy and theology section of the Universal Lithuanian Encyclopedia (vle.lt); commissioned, edited and fact-checked entries where an unverified claim ships as a public error.
  • Designed and ran LLM-based editorial workflows (Claude, n8n): wrote the machine-readable specification that constrains generated drafts, required human review before publication, and evaluated output against editorial accuracy standards.
  • Modelled the domain as a structured concept scheme (SKOS) mapped to international authority files (LCSH, GND), and ran entity resolution across the corpus so each person resolves to one record.
