Recently I succeeded in gaining a role for Northern as Skilled Train Maintainer at Blackburn, where part of the role includes driving the different class’s of trains on depot. Something which I am very proud of achieving. In the past having worked on locomotives for nearly 5 years and commissioning network rail maintenance rail vehicles, I progressed rapidly and impressed my peers and therefore achieving deputy team leader within 6 months while I was at freightliner.

And at EMD by gaining a position as a field service engineer/ lead technician. Throughout my time working on class 66 and class 70 rolling stock I have undertaken planned acceptance testing (new fleet introduction), preventative maintenance, modifications, service repairs, fault finding and testing to minimise any problems and delays. This ensures that vehicles meet availability, reliability and performance standards.

I am a dedicated, hard working professional who takes pride in delivering service and providing meticulous standards of work either in the U.K. or working abroad. I am creative and pro active and tackle problems with relish, always looking to find solutions quickly and efficiently. I am flexible when it comes to working hours and always happy to carry out extra work when needed.
