I have now been teaching for the past 10 years, with a degree in Primary Education with QTS from the University of the West of England in Bristol (United Kingdom). I am currently working as a teacher in a primary school as a year 6 teacher in Abu Dhabi.
Throughout my teaching career I believe I have learned the key skills to become an efficient, effective, and reflective primary practitioner. I am dedicated, hardworking and meticulous, willing to go beyond expectations to enhance, update and improve my teaching practice. I have high expectations and care greatly about the success and well-being of all my pupils.
I strive to inspire and enrich every child so that they can reach their full potential. I aim to instil a love of learning by encouraging children to build upon prior knowledge by exploring new topics and areas of interest. I have a high degree of empathy, patience and kindness and I love teaching younger children.
I am eager to work in a school that believes in offering a caring, learning centered environment amongst a fully supportive and committed team. My vision of ‘making a difference every day!’ is something I fully support and promote within my teaching. I always wish to encourage independence and autonomous learning and I actively encourage children to make their own sensible choices when completing any nature of activity.
I believe I would be able to fully integrate myself into your working team at your School. I have observed that your school works as a community, with the community, developing citizens who will continue to lead happy, healthy and rewarding lives’ the fantastic opportunity for parents to be involved in their children’s education. As relationships are vital for schools to be successful, I have developed the key skills to be able to establish excellent working relationships with all staff, parents and carers.
I have gained an understanding of how to work positively as a wider school community, as I believe this is crucial for a successful and happy school.
I have learned skills and gained many achievements in my personal life. I am also proud of my healthy diet and lifestyle and encourage physical activity and team games within my teaching career and personal life. I would love to be involved in extra curricula activities in any area but would particularly enjoy passing on my specific art and design. I also have had experience of working in after school clubs and groups.
I am committed to continuing my professional development and fully commit to training that intends to make me a better, more informed primary teacher. I place all pupils at the heart of my planning and have extensive experience of parallel class and team planning. I aim to provide an exciting, compassionate, and enjoyable learning environment where children feel comfortable in asking questions, making mistakes, asking for help, and receiving feedback.
I aim to make every child feel valued and give them the best possible education by using effective personalised provision.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application.
