- Walkthrough design option with UI, UX team

Deloitte Consulting - Standard Life Aberdeen – Finance TOM Analyst
SLA was implementing a new Oracle procurement system. Michael worked as a TOM analyst to map to-be/as is process. He also designed the transition process to handle the 3rd Party invoices that span across two financial systems. His responsibility and achievement include:
- Ran interviews and workshops to map the as is finance month end process across domains
- Identified the discrepancies in how staff cost and non-staff costs are treated across domains
- Documented the standard operating procedures for as is state
- Created requirement documentation for the finance transformation project
- Provided training sessions with over 50 participants for the new finance system
- Designed and supported the 3rd party invoice payment/ month end processes during transition period

Deloitte Consulting - Cigna Health Insurance – Business Analyst A Deloitte team from across member firms was involved in supporting the implementation of Mednext a core medical insurance software to move away from the legacy system and improve the efficiency of the business in a number of areas. Michael was a UI/functional designer in application configuration workstream and worked specifically in the claim area. His responsibility and achievement include:
- Michael was involved in functional requirement analysis, classifying functional requirements by epics on JIRA
- Following the initial planning phrase, Michael was dedicated to the functional design. As a BA, Michael designed the configuration customisation needed to meet the full list of functional requirements. In particular he was in charge of designing:
- Clinical rules to flag claims for medical review
- Claim denial reason
- Information request
- Exceptional payment logic
- Benefit Determination

Deloitte was involved in setting up a service company for the bank that provides back-office services to different arms of the bank. Michael was the PMO for the billing and recharge workstream. His responsibility and achievement include:

- Tracked interdependencies across programmes and mapped critical path for Go Live
- Draft the design principles for inter legal entity billing
