A highly accomplished, organised and competent manager in the healthcare sector. My current roles are:
I have actively been involved in the Kingston Medical Services user group and the Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group, Primary Care Quality Development Board, where I regularly contributed ideas and offered feedback from the other practices in Kingston. I have mentored and coached new practice managers in Kingston to support their own practices. I was also a decision-maker in this role.
I set up an extended hours hub for the federation and successfully ran it for two years at Merritt Medical Centre.
I was the lead in organising Covid Vaccination Clinics for 8 Practices working collaboratively, as a pilot site, other practices implemented the same system.
In my current role, I have successfully implemented an online triage system, which has increased patient access and efficiency within the practice. I have reviewed various roles and implemented changes, which have reduced backlogs. I have recovered unclaimed income, increased practice income through effective coding systems, and reduced the overall staff budget while maintaining the morale of my team.
In my Transformation Lead role, I have successfully implemented a clinical system that is currently being used to run extended access (Evening and Weekend Clinics) for all 4 practices in our Primary Care Network.
I am an enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels. I am a good team player with strong management skills, who can prioritise workloads, and motivate staff and I have a clear vision and understanding of how to create an efficient and dynamic work environment.
