I am an Investment Strategist specialising in multi-asset allocation and macro-driven portfolio construction. With experience in shaping house investment views within a UK wealth management environment, I combine quantitative analysis with practical implementation to generate actionable cross-asset ideas. My focus is on understanding macro regimes, valuation dynamics and portfolio risk interactions, ensuring investment views translate into disciplined, client-focused outcomes.
I’m particularly interested in the intersection of data, technology and asset allocation in improving long-term investment decision-making.
Associate Investment Strategist – Evelyn Partners (2022–Present)
I work within the central Asset Allocation team, contributing to the formulation and implementation of the firm’s house investment view across equities, fixed income and alternatives. My role combines macroeconomic research, quantitative modelling and practical portfolio construction.
I generate top-down asset allocation recommendations and intra-asset class tilts across regions, sectors and factors, supported by proprietary allocation signals and sector scorecards that integrate regime indicators, valuation metrics, earnings momentum and price behaviour. I use Bloomberg, Datastream and Python to analyse cross-asset data, monitor leading indicators and backtest investment hypotheses.
Beyond idea generation, I assess the total-portfolio impact of proposed positioning changes across different risk profiles, modelling effects on volatility, beta, duration and correlation dynamics to ensure recommendations are both risk-aware and implementable. I regularly present macro and market outlooks to investment teams and contribute written research and commentary, translating quantitative outputs into clear, actionable narratives for portfolio managers and clients.
Associate – Financial Planning Technical – Tilney Smith & Williamson (2021–2022)
Supported advisers within a regulated wealth management framework, assisting with investment product oversight and maintaining relationships with pension and investment providers, strengthening my understanding of UK wealth management products and regulatory considerations.
I hold an MSc in Investment Management from Henley Business School (University of Reading), where I graduated with Distinction and was awarded a scholarship. My studies focused on financial markets, portfolio management, and fixed income and equity investments, providing a strong foundation in asset allocation theory and capital market analysis.
I also hold a First Class Honours BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Buckingham, completed through an accelerated two-year programme.
In addition, I have passed CFA Level I (achieving a top 10% score globally) and hold the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), further strengthening my knowledge of portfolio construction, asset valuation and professional investment standards.
