For the last 14 years I have worked as a Customer Account Coordinator looking after a number of our largest customers.
Unfortunately I am in the process of being made redundant due to our site being closed.
This role includes the whole sales administration process from quoting, to order processing, to delivery and all aspects in between, as well as weekly calls to discuss and resolve any issues.
Dealing with complex products this has needed a high level of attention to detail on product/material changes, FAI's, concessions and also being military products quite a lot of involvement with export licensing too.
With our largest account having weekly shipments of multiple products there is also lots of focus on delivery and schedule management, liaising both internally and with the customer to ensure priorities are aligned. This also involved managing expectations both good and bad.
Building good relationships with both customer and internal colleagues has been key and one of the areas I have really enjoyed. I also really enjoy the responsibility of managing the whole quote to delivery process from start to finish and the liaising with all departments to make things happen.
A levels in Physics (C), Art (B), Technology (A) and Event Management (Distinction)
GCSEs in Art, English Language, Mathematics, English Literature, Technology/Graphics, Design, History, Geography, Science & German (A*-B)
