Hello There! My name is Ollie and I am a recent graduate of Hull University, with a Bsc in Marine Biology. I am driven by an unwavering passion for understanding and preserving our oceans' ecosystems. During my academic journey from GCSEs to my degree, I've immersed myself in a diverse range of marine studies, from marine biodiversity to Oceanography, GIS and Aquatic Resource Management, developing a strong foundational knowledge in the field.
My degree has equipped me with hands-on field experience, such as conducting various surveys and research in Majorca for my Field Studies module, analysing marine organisms at various beaches, exploring the intricate dynamics of marine environments and the impact humanity has had on them as well as expanding my critical thinking, data analysis and more.
My dream for the future is to work in practical marine conservation, specifically with sharks. Given the increase in illegal shark finning as well as the impact on global warming, it is more important than ever we dedicate resources into protecting these creatures in the best way we can.
