This role is responsible for the safe and secure handling of cash on-site. You will perform cash lifts as directed by the Cash Office and Manager throughout the day. Additionally, you will compile and issue floats as required based on the daily trade requirements.

Reconciliation of cash and tills in operation, reporting discrepancies to the Store Manager and adhering to banking procedures are essential responsibilities. Collaboration with human resources is also required to ensure compliance with staff member serving policies, monitor safe balances and provide daily information to the Manager. Daily review of the safe sheet and reporting of any discrepancies to myself and the Manager are also mandatory.

Emptying all coin-operated machines, accurate input of income, reconciliation of cash, banking procedures and ensuring the secure storage of all monies at the end of each day are key responsibilities.
