Rachael Smith

My name is Rachael and I am a 33 year old mum of 2. I live in Alness and currently work part-time in Specsavers in Dingwall. I have loads of customer service experience and I love working with people. I am looking for a job that allows me to work around my 2 children.

My son is 11 and my daughter is 3 and they both have been diagnosed with autism. When I am not being kept busy with my 2 children, I like to go paddle boarding in a local loch, eating at Michelin star restaurants with my husband who is a chef in Ullapool, going cycling or walking with the family and socialising with my friends.

I have 15+ years experience in customer service based roles and around 5 years of sales experience. I currently work as an Optical Assistant in Specsavers and I have been there since December 2023.

I have 7 standard grades from Alness Academy. 5 general passes and 2 foundation passes Including English, Maths, Administration and Chemistry.
