I worked at Primark, as a retail assistant, where I assisted on the shop floor, with direct face to face customer service. My role entailed keeping my department tidy, answering any questions from customers as well as working on the tills. This role helped develop customer service skills as well as confidence when handling difficult customers.

I also had experience within the fitting rooms, checking in and checking out customers, ensuring they had all their belongings and they were satisfied with their service.

Busser - Emily's Formby

I worked as a busser at Emily's Formby, working behind the scenes, cleaning and rotating tables, ensuring all glasses and cutlery were always cleaned and available. Occasionally serving the food and drinks to tables.

Shift Manager - Storyhouse Cafe

I have been working at Storyhouse Cafe for the last 3 years, deeper developing my customer service skills, curating coffees and serving high quality food. The cafe recently got taken over by a new management, so I got promoted to shift manager, helping with opening and closing, handling cash up at the end of the day and stock take.

Kids Church Leader

I have spent years volunteering as a Kids Church Leader, on Sundays, leading sessions, allocating sessions to the other volunteers and creating rotas for each term. This has been a joy to do, seeing the kids grow up and creating personal relationships with each of them.
