Officer of the Watch (OOW) Unlimited STCW II/1 with varying experience on large passenger vessels, both RoPax and Cruise. I am a hard-working, motivated, and resilient individual, with a professional attitude seeking a new role. Alongside my sponsorship with P&O Ferries, I have gained a BSc Honours degree in Navigation & Maritime Science through University of Plymouth.
In combination with my training, I gained invaluable experience and insight into safety related concerns as a Third Officer with Carnival UK and have proven to be an adaptable Officer.
My Background consists of a sponsorship through P&O Ferries, through which I sailed on various routes and on a variety of vessels within their fleet. Once qualified, I undertook various stints on the Irish Sea with P&O in the North Channel as Second Officer and as OOW with Stena in Ireland. More recently however, I have over a year in rank as Third officer working for Carnival UK, sailing on Arcadia and Azura on a worldwide itinerary, gaining invaluable experience in deep sea operations, understanding the logistical challenges that accompanies a demanding and variable schedule.
This time has been beneficial, allowing me to obtain certifications in training courses through Carnival's own academy - CSmart. Now, looking forward, I hope to return to the RoPax industry to undertake my Chief Mate’s ticket and build upon the previous experience I have gained.
