ASDAN is an education charity and nationally recognised awarding organisation. During my time at this company I was promoted from Centre Support Assistant to Centre Support Officer within a year of my employment, where I was the main specialist for the Events (webinars and INSET training) This role included:
- Being the officer responsible for the Events administration, inbox and phone calls; uploading any upcoming event schedules to the website. Managing the bookings, payments, cancellations, registers, certification and organising the materials sent out to members attending the events with the Publications team
- Daily use of Microsoft Excel, Email , 3CX phone systems and introduction to the CRM system
- Liaising with the management team in regards to specific events and member queries, including complaints and onboarding new members
- Handling any member queries and complaints via email and telephone in a professional manor
- Forming relationships with existing members for personalised support and advising potential members with the suitable information whilst meeting the company's KPI's
- Supporting with the awarding and printing of the certificates for Qualifications and Programmes within the deadlines set
- Raising invoices to the members accounts and communicating with the Finance team with queries
- Attending weekly meetings and presenting when advised by management
- Greeting any visitors to the onsite office, including trustees and members attending Moderation meetings
- Supporting other teams such as management, development, marketing, publications and finance to maintain strong relationships and an organised friendly environment

The positions included primary schools, both mainstream and SEND. Within the mainstream school placements I had been appointed as a teaching assistant, but also as a 1:1 support for specific SEN children. This role included the traditional teaching assistant responsibilities as well as:
- Insuring the children felt safe and content in their environment by forming trust and reassurance daily
- Being able to de-escalate any volatile situations to the best of my ability, and evaluating when extra support and help is needed to keep everyone safe
- Aiding children who may not be able to focus through their educational journey

- This position included supporting the students with their everyday activities, such as their daily exercises, sensory sessions, lunch time and any specific daily routines they may have
- Making sure every student was content and safe as well as engaged for the day

Temporary position as the company needed admin assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This included:
- Ability to work towards targets as the aim of the position was to get the company on track due to the backlog of paperwork which accumulated during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Working to timelines and ensuring the smooth running of the office, excellent communication were required
- During this time I was completing my final year of my university degree, highlighting my organisational skills and dedication.
- Immediately settled into a new team and atmosphere in order to help organise and manage the tasks
Volunteer Sunday School Teacher - Bethel Church

- Worked one-on-one with children to help improve their confidence and self-esteem, as this position was situated in an inner city area which has known deprivation
- Maintained clean, safe, and orderly classroom environment
- We enjoyed outings to give the children the experiences of play and freedom, this came with accountability as I had to supervise and provide child safety whilst having fun outside the classroom
- Play and creativity is a part of early child development, by understanding this concept I was able to build a rapport with the children by teaching through ways such as; creating plays, arts and crafts, songs and exercise.

- From being in this role, I learnt excellent organisational skills as I was completing my final year of A-Levels, this skill has been reflected in my adult life as I am able to show a study-work-life balance.
