My name is ruby macey, i am a second year A-level student at city of bristol college age 18. I am currently pursuing sociology and psychology with good grades. These studies have majorly enhanced my understanding of people and so helped me handle unpleasant interactions.
I do not have a lot of experience in retail other than a temporary job I had last Christmas in Boots. During this time I built a lot of confidence in speaking to customers, building a rapport with them and assisting them in any way I can. This also taught me to thrive in and adapt to fast-paced environments, enabling me to work under stress and delivering a positive attitude towards work.
Temporary sales assistant - Boots - Cribbs Causeway

Last christmas i worked part time in boots cribbs causeway. During this time I memorised the location of items in the large store extremely fast which benefited me and customers greatly when they had questions about whereabouts.
Work experience - Primary school
(2022 - 2022)
When i was 16 i did my work experience at a primary school. Here I learnt how to handle and talk to children who are more sensitive to communication. This means i learnt how to talk to people more gently and understanding.
Reception work experience - Westlec auto electrical services
(2022 - 2022)
When i was 16 i also did work experience for a few days at a reception, learning how to write an invoice and answer customer inquiries.
