Currently, I am a 20 year-old, full time university student at the University of Bristol studying Environmental Geoscience, but I am very eager to get back into work!

I have a strong desire to gain work experience and learn from a team. Eager to serve customers, keep shop tidy and sell goods. Comfortable in fast-paced environments and willing to take on challenging work.

Retail Assistant at RHS Wisley Gardens

Within the gardens my role was within the gift shop where I was largely responsible for customer interactions and managing the till.

• Continually replenished stock in line with sales records, keeping well-maintained, presentable item displays.
• Greeted customers and offered assistance with selecting merchandise, finding accessories and completing purchases.
• Delivered reliable in-store experience through positive and attentive customer service.
• Carried out cleaning, maintaining high store presentation and hygiene standards.

I am confident that the skills in customer service that I have gained at this job will transfer well into any retail environment as well as hospitality.
