I am applying for a role at Cohens Pharmacy as a Trainee Counter Assistant as I have been wanting to take on a new challenge, and I believe I would be a great fit for this position. I have a great interest in healthcare, reflected by me having a BSC (Hons) in Health and Social Care, and completing one year of a BSC in Learning Disability Nursing which has given me a level of understanding in the healthcare landscape such as safeguarding, care-centred communication and medical ethics. I believe that I would be a great fit for this role due to my strong communication skills, positive attitude and flexible availability.

I also am enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service and creating a positive and welcoming in-store experience for customers. Although I have loved being self-employed in digital marketing for the last few years, I am looking to return to a retail environment as I miss working with the general public and being in a faster-paced environment. I am a confident and friendly individual who enjoys taking a customer-centred approach and creating a positive experience for customers in store.

Through previous experience in retail and call centres, I have developed strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of people effectively. Being self-employed has helped me develop excellent time management, organisation skills, and attention to detail, which I believe are important skills in a busy retail environment. I enjoy working as part of a team, while also feeling confident working independently.
