I have worked in administrative roles for over 12 years.
I am a valued team member and work well with everyone at all levels and have excellent organisational skills. I am hard working and can work in a team as well as on my own. I am a pro-active member of the team, completing tasks using my own initiative. I feel confident that I prioritise my work to achieve the deadlines to the needs of my role. Over the past 12 years whilst working in hospitality and the wedding industry in my role as Office Manager it can be very stressful, but I am a very calm person and this has helped me to deal effectively with challenging situations, always keeping a professional manner. I have found it very challenging yet incredibly rewarding.
Whilst working in my role, as well as managing the office I also managed casual members of staff and assisted with processing their wages. On days when we hosted a wedding I have been flexible and quickly adapted to the demands of the day, providing support to members of the team where needed and excellent customer service to the guests.
At the start of my role as Office Manager I quickly discovered the need for some uniformity within the booking and planning processes. I devised a methodical admin system that enabled all members of staff to be able to see at a glance the completed stages for each booking as it progressed. This increased team efficiency enabling the venue to accept more bookings.
I have enjoyed my previous roles and the experiences I have gained from them and I look forward to carrying these transferable skills with me as I seek new challenges and progress my career.
