About

Proactive and community‑focused professional with extensive experience in inspections, safety compliance, frontline service delivery and resolving issues that affect the quality of life for residents. Over twenty years working across logistics, facilities, youth engagement and administration, I have developed strong skills in monitoring environments, identifying risks, taking corrective action and maintaining safe, well‑managed spaces. I have completed Health & Safety and Risk Assessment training through trade‑union duties and supported Health & Safety and Fire Safety inspections across six public sites in London.

My fire‑safety training includes enhanced modules for care environments, public buildings and educational settings, and I hold COSHH and chemical-spills training. I have also been responsible for coordinating compliance activities across multiple sites, ensuring standards were met and corrective actions implemented quickly and effectively. As a qualified SIA licence holder, I have undergone anti‑social behaviour training and conflict‑resolution training, applying these skills extensively in real‑world situations.

My experience at Dawat‑e‑Islami involved coordinating large events and interacting with diverse service users — including individuals with mental‑health conditions, PTSD, trauma histories and refugee backgrounds — equipping me to manage ASB‑related issues with sensitivity and professionalism. During my career at Vauxhall Motors, I was trained in and deeply embedded within a culture of continuous improvement, applying structured problem‑solving to reduce waste, improve efficiency and enhance productivity. I formally suggested — and was rewarded for — several improvements to working practices that increased operational efficiency and reduced unnecessary use of time and resources.

I also wrote Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help management document complex work operations and support training for future staff. I continue to apply these principles in my approach to new employment and everyday life. I bring strong communication skills, a calm and professional approach, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations.

I am committed to supporting Luton Borough Council’s objectives by ensuring estates are safe, clean, compliant and welcoming for tenants, while contributing positively to community safety and wellbeing.
