• Over 8 years in sales, selling dental consumables to over 200 Dental Laboratories and Hospitals within the M25 and London area, building a strong reputation and network.
• Building strong business relations with 10 Dental Hospitals, leading to a 30% increase in sales, exceeding company profits annually.
• Represented Bracon in 6 tradeshows and exhibitions, including Cologne IDS Exhibition. In 5 days at IDS, I sourced 20 new dental products to sell in the UK market.
• Through reputation alone, I expanded the business to others areas of the UK, bringing on 10 Dental Laboratories around areas including Luton, Hitchin and Letchworth.
• From 2015-2017, I developed a personal database to track customer spending, targeting demand and aiding in increasing profits further.

Dental Model Technician at Perfect Trays/Smile Studio (2014-03 – 2015-01)

Perfect Trays was founded by Dr Wyman Chan who is one of the leading teeth whitening dentists in the UK, located in Soho, London.

• Working alongside Dr Wyman Chan, manufacturing 30 teeth whitening appliances per day, 150 per week.
• Each bleaching tray was produced to an extremely high standard to abide by dental legislation.
• Securing business reputation, by creating custom made teeth whitening systems for celebrities and politicians.
• Acting as a senior member of the technical department to ensure all appliances were executed to company standards.

Dental Technician at Meek Dental Limited (2010-06 – 2014-02)

Meek Dental are a private and NHS Dental Laboratory producing porcelain crowns, E-Max and implants for prestigious dentists and celebrities in the London area.

• Working with dental implants for the past 10 years, I waxed, invested and casted using a hand piece machine, focusing on precision and accuracy with a 3x magnification microscope.
• Attended CAD/CAM lectures to further knowledge, with the aim of incorporating this machine into the production workflow, to minimalise human error and increase productivity.
• Construction of a broad range of single and multiple metal work units, including the production of gold crowns/inlays, post and cores.
• Experienced in producing E-Max all ceramic crowns, veneers and full contour waxing and Implants for crown and bridge restorations.
• Specialist in private crown and bridge from single units to full mouth restorations.

Dental Production Manager/Colour Specialist at Makevale Ltd (1998-06 – 2010-05)

Makevale are developers and manufacturers of high performance polymers and biopolymers for clients all over the globe.

• 12 year’s experience in producing the largest range of dental acrylics in the world.
• Solely responsible for manufacturing over 60 different shades of acrylic, for companies such as Heraeus Kulzer and Ivoclar Vivadent.
• Managing an entire dental department with the responsibility of quality control from the beginning to end.
• Attended trade shows and dental exhibitions in Cologne and Milan, selling acrylic products to over 30 companies around the world.
• From the volume of acrylics produced, roughly 80 tonnes, this resulted in a turnover of £5 million per year.
• My position made me only 1 in 6 people in the world with this particular skill set and knowledge.

Owner of Dental Laboratory at Oral Design Dental Laboratory (1996-06 – 1998-05)

Oral Design Dental Laboratory was a private laboratory, specialising in crown and bridge and owned by myself.

• The business model was based on delivering Harley Street services to dentists in the Hertfordshire area, at affordable prices.
• Taught courses to local dentists on treatment planning, to encourage repeat business for private crown and bridge work.
• While running the company, I worked for 2 months in Berlin, Germany with the view of moving the laboratory to Germany.
• To market the brand, Ware College was approached with an offer for an award of £200 for the student who could come up with the best logo design for the business.
• Ran courses at ‘The Rivers Hospital’, Hertfordshire with Dr. Lawrence Aitken, for local dentists to acquire CPD points, as this option was only available in London at the time.

Senior Dental Technician at Dr. John Bunyan Harley Street Dental Practice (1986-03 – 1996-05)

Dr John Bunyan was regarded as one of the best dentists in England and his Obituary has been written in The Guardian.

• Worked alongside Michael Kempton, who was one of the top dental technicians and ceramists.
• Produced one of the first complex dental implants, called subperiosteal implants in the UK.
• Trained for 10 years, alongside experienced dentists and technicians to create dental products of a high standard.
• Specialised in crown and bridge work, with a high emphasis on using equipment, such as DENAR articulators and gained extensive knowledge on dental occlusion.
