I am a U.S.-born citizen, raised in Chicago, Illinois, and I am currently seeking to return to the United States after gaining extensive professional experience abroad.
In 2013, I relocated to England, where I completed both my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and my Master of Science in Advanced Practice Interventions in Mental Health (Dementia Care). Over the past eight years, I have worked across acute care, community health, reablement, and mental health services within the UK’s National Health Service and local authority systems. These roles required a high level of autonomy, complex clinical reasoning, leadership, and close multidisciplinary collaboration.
As an internationally trained occupational therapist, I successfully completed the OTED equivalency process and have recently passed the NBCOT board examination, earning my Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR)credential. I am actively pursuing state licensure and am fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
My clinical background includes complex discharge planning, cognitive and functional assessment, dementia care, environmental and home safety evaluations, and supervision of occupational therapists, assistants, and students. I have consistently worked with high-acuity caseloads and have led interventions focused on maximizing independence, reducing risk, and improving functional outcomes for adults and older adults.
I am now seeking to broaden my professional experience within the U.S. healthcare system and to continue developing as a senior clinician and leader. I am particularly interested in opportunities in Chicago and Texas, where I can contribute my international perspective, strong clinical foundation, and leadership experience to support high-quality, patient-centered care.
