I am a occupational therapist working within a rapid response team in the community. My main role is assessing patients and intervening to prevent hospital admission and support patients following a discharge. It is a service which is demanding and intense. I have to think on my feet, be adaptable and organised.
Within my role as a senior therapist I also supervise therapy support workers, in charge of the rota and training for new starters and students.
I have been doing this job for over 8 years now and ready for a new challenge. I am open to looking a a career change where I can utilise my unique skill set and also interested in teaching.
