Samuel Harris

I am currently working as a composite trimmer/ fitter in the aerospace industry and have a background in engineering, fabrication and fitting.I am trained and experienced in trimming, bonding, countersinking, composite repair, drilling, tapping, surface preparation, wet and dry abrasion, working from drawings and build manuals, metallics, riveting, wet laminating, fixing and fitting.

I am competent to an AS 9100/ AS9110 standard and hold a black stamp in the aerospace industry which allows me to inspect and verify jobs to the industry standard.

I am a very driven individual and am always setting personal goals in my work where i have a consistent track record of achieving set goals and using initiative to complete any task put in front of me. I enjoy working as part of a team to achieve group goals and can implement my individual skill set to get work completed within a timely manner to a top standard. I enjoy going the extra mile and am willing to work whatever time frame is required to meet targets.

I am currently working as a trimmer but previously I worked as a lift engineer with around 8 years experience In major projects. I have also have experience as a commercial vehicle fitter, CNC production manager and sheet metal and fabrication.

I have 9 A-C GCSE grades i acquired at Wilmington Grammar School For Boys, an NVQ level 3 in lift engineering and various training certificates in competence in composites
