About

I have had a successful career working in the childcare, education and voluntary sector with children aged 2 – 18 years old, in the UK and overseas. I am a respectful, discreet, trustworthy and family oriented individual. I enjoy working as part of a team, but I am also confident working on my own.

I enjoy travelling the world and experiencing different cultures. I am qualified in the Montessori Method of teaching English, Educational Psychology, Childcare and Early Years Learning, as well as Home Education. I passed these courses with distinctions.

I also have diplomas in TEFL – Teaching English as a Foreign Language, teaching children with SEN (Special Educational Needs), Diet and Nutrition and as a Teaching Assistant. I hold an up to date first aid certificate and an enhanced DBS check. I hold a full UK driving licence and I am confident driving a manual or automatic car in the city and on the motorway.

I am looking for a new long-term role where I can actively use the knowledge and skills that I have gained over the years.

Experience

Live-in Guardian/Family Assistant at Mrs Cooney (2025-08 – Present)

I am currently working for a UHNW family in Buckinghamshire, UK as a live-in Guardian and Family Assistant. My role has evolved during my time with this family. Initially it started as a live-in Guardian/Proxy Parent to a 16-year-old girl with SEN.

As her Guardian it was my responsibility to live-in 24/7, act as a mentor, liaise with her school and doctors, and drive her to any appointments. Her parents and siblings moved to Dubai in August 2025; however, she wanted to complete her A level studies in Buckinghamshire. In December, her parents decided that she should join them in Dubai, so my role then changed to more of a Family Assistant/Estate Manager at the family home.

I looked after the family’s two dogs until they relocated to Dubai in early 2026. I am now co-ordinating the renovations of the family home, as they are planning to sell the property and I assist the family with any tasks when they are in residence in the UK.

Live-in Governess at Mrs Hou (2024-10 – 2025-06)

I was employed by a UHNW family as the live-in Governess to three Taiwanese children, aged 4, 6, and 8 years old. I started this position in Taiwan, before moving to London with the family in April 2025. My role was to oversee the children’s formal and informal learning, social skills and etiquette, as well as their general upbringing.

I co-ordinated the weekly schedule, produced weekly and monthly progress reports for the parents, liaised with the home-schooling subject tutors, drivers and football coaches, as well as working as part of a team with the parents and household staff. I was responsible for purchasing learning supplies, recruiting tutors and arranging field trips. The children are keen students, with a passion for learning about music, art, science, history, literature and sports.

So, the focus of my time with them was to make sure that they broaden their knowledge of these subjects. When travelling with the family, I was responsible for the children full-time and share the accommodation with them. My contract ended due to my employer wanting to have a native French speaking Governess for the children.

The family plan to move to Switzerland in the future, so it would be very useful for the children to be fluent in French. From December 2025: I was asked by Mrs Hou to return to her employment, to be her children’s weekend live-out Governess.

Rota Nanny/Personal Assistant at Mr Saroya (2021-11 – 2024-10)

I worked as a Rota Nanny/Personal Assistant to this single parent HNW family. Mr Saroya’s two sons were aged 15 and 16 years old, and his daughter was 5 years old, when I started the role.

My duties included: Mentoring the teenage boys and making sure that they kept on track with their studies, as well as teaching them practical life skills, like cooking, driving and how to budget. Early years learning with the 5-year-old girl, liaising with schoolteachers and additional tutors, organising weekend activities, after school clubs and creative projects, driving the children, laundry, nursery duties, proxy parenting as the father travelled overseas on business every other month, online ordering, assisting with mealtimes and administrative duties relating to the household. During the school holidays, I travelled with the family. My rota was 2 weeks on/off during the term time and would adjust to 3 weeks on/off during school holidays. I started this position in November 2021, initially working alternate weekends. In November 2022, this became a full-time rota position.

I worked with this UHNW family as a Rota Governess/Personal Assistant for 7.5 years. I would oversee the education and welfare of four children aged between 6 – 12 years old. Their native language is Greek. During my time with this family, I worked various rota schedules and proxy parenting was the focus of the role. The children moved to Monaco in April 2019. While the children were at school, I would help in the family’s home office, carrying out personal assistant duties.

  • Structured English language learning through formal and informal lessons, particularly focusing on early years education and motor skills.
  • It was my responsibility to source and schedule additional tutors, organise outings, playdates and educational activities.

This daily Governess/Personal Assistant role was for a UHNW Swiss German/British family in Sevenoaks, Kent. My focus in this job was to concentrate on the children’s education and monitor their progress at school.
