A results-oriented radiotherapy professional with substantial experience in dosimetry and the medical device sector, I offer robust technical proficiency alongside a dedicated commitment to customer-focused service delivery. Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, I drive service enhancements, optimise workflow processes, and consistently provide high-quality support to clinical stakeholders.
My expertise encompasses radiotherapy physics quality assurance, treatment planning, and AI-driven contouring solutions, with practical involvement in system commissioning, configuration, and clinical implementation. Although I transitioned to industry several years ago, I remain current with clinical developments by regularly conducting training, mentoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for radiotherapy teams in both NHS and private hospitals across the UK and Ireland, during the deployment of advanced treatment planning and imaging systems.
In my current role, I lead a team of engineers and Clinical Specialists, managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of Physics QA and Radiotherapy immobilization products. My responsibilities include direct post-sales support such as initial customer training, overseeing installations, and providing ongoing technical help for both hardware and software. I also support the Science and Innovation Lead by helping identify new products to expand our portfolio.
One highlight of my work has been assisting the Managing Director and Commercial Manager throughout all phases of a major project involving over £400,000 worth of Physics QA equipment—from engaging with clients to the final successful delivery. To maintain excellent service, I build strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as a conduit between commercial and technical teams to foster a more synergistic approach.
Additionally, I represent the company at key conferences at regional, national, and international levels to showcase our products, strengthen supplier and customer relationships, and seek out new portfolio opportunities. My role also involves using a consultative approach when discussing products with potential users, focusing on ways to enhance and innovate Radiotherapy services. I provide the commercial team with technical insights during NHS tender processes to support successful outcomes.
I have a post-graduate Diploma in Radiotherapy & Oncology from Sheffield Hallam University. I am registered with HCPC in the UK.
