Spencer Seddon

As a football coach at Fleetwood Town Football Club Academy, I play an active role in the development of young players within the club’s academy system. My responsibilities include planning and delivering high-quality, age-appropriate training sessions aligned with the club’s philosophy, monitoring player development, and supporting individual progression both on and off the pitch.

Alongside this, I work within Fleetwood Town’s Sports College, delivering practical coaching sessions and supporting the education and performance pathways of post-16 students. This role involves mentoring young athletes, integrating coaching theory into practice, and preparing players for progression into higher education, elite sport, or employment in the industry.

Previously, I served as a Football Development Coordinator for Fleetwood Town Community Trust, where I managed grassroots programmes and community initiatives aimed at increasing participation and engagement in football. This included overseeing school delivery, organising holiday camps, developing local partnerships, and mentoring young coaches.

This blend of academy, education, and community experience has equipped me with a well-rounded coaching skillset and a deep understanding of player development across all levels of the game.
