Marketing Executive with PR and Event Support at Duchess Media
Duchess Media is a digital marketing, PR and events company based in Bristol, working mostly with hospitality venues. Starting as Duchess Media’s first ever intern, my role largely encompasses looking after the social media accounts of our clients. In addition to socials I have also assisted in the setting up and running a variety of events including street food markets with BEats, competition finals with The Pitch, restaurant launches, corporate Christmas parties, New Years Eve parties and drag queen brunches!
Through this role I have gained experience in event delivery from concept to completion - writing pitches and press releases, collating guest lists, applying for temporary event notices, budgeting, sourcing venues, entertainment and refreshments, providing artist liaison support and on the day delivery. This role requires the ability to co-ordinate with multiple teams to delivery flawless events for our clients.
