Terry Deegan

Born and raised in Coventry, UK I used my IT experience to move abroad in order to learn a foreign language, moving to central Germany, near Frankfurt am Main, where I lived and worked for just over 25 years.

I am now again based in my hometown of Coventry since returning in 2014.

Initially I continued my IT career, but for the last 6 years I have worked in English and German speaking Customer Service & Quality Analyst roles.

I am fluent in English (native) and German written and spoken.

My career began in IT, progressing from trainee through to Programmer, Programmer/Analyst and including roles involving Data Analysis, Test Analysis and Quality Analysis, mostly in an IBM Mainframe environment but also including ICL and Unisys environments as well as cross-training for a period of SAP development and testing.

The last 6 years I have worked in English and German speaking Customer Service & Quality Analyst roles. I am fluent in English (native) and German written and spoken.

I was educated to HND level in Computer studies at Lanchester Polytechnic, Coventry (now Coventry University) sponsored by Rolls-Royce.
