I have a passion for teaching and learning, and I have enjoyed my experiences teaching English as a foreign language online as well as observing lessons at school experience days. I learnt that using positive language to recognise and praise students’ work, contributions and good behaviour immediately empowers and engages students of all ages and abilities. Noticing that I had inspired students to think about how to respond to questions and to view ideas from new perspectives is a very rewarding experience, and is a skill that I would like to develop further.
