I have over 30 years experience of working, I've done a variety of jobs, mainly in the West Yorkshire area, been a machine operator, although not skilled, picker, packer, warehouse worker, supermarket worker, worked at printers, I was a trimmer, pallet wrapper, worked at an engineering place, made fibre glass wedges for electric motors, CNC work there aswell, worked on machines at other jobs too, I'm also quite flexible in my working hours too, can work days or evenings, I have my own transport, I am available for an interview anytime, thankyou
Assembly Worker at Platinum Stairlifts (2016-04 – 2020-03)
Worked in the assembly department, assembled parts to make up legs, footplates, made up chassis tops with seat swivel motor attached, also worked on the drive unit side, built up two stages, chassis with motor, switches, etc, then finish off with pcb, with wires attached & covers. Also worked in the despatch area, strapping & wrapping pallets, this was a busy department, so use to working in a fast pace environment. Our department was made more productive & efficient through new management changes
Machine operative at Olicana (2012-06 – 2015-12)
Did a variety of jobs, worked on a machine that bent metal tubing into chairs, my job was the first process, did some polishing, grinding, cutting metal tubes on panel saw, CNC work, worked on robot welder, worked in the britax department, made wing mirror parts for JCB, worked on a spin riveter, bending machine, other machines too in this department, worked on puncing machine, drilling machine, other machines too
Picker/Packer, trimmer at Relay agency (2006-04 – 2012-06)
The agency jobs I did in this period were at severnside recycling, Klinger, Gardner Denver, sherbourne upholstery, slingsbys, British Thornton, reedmore, multi graphics ds smiths. A large percentage of these jobs were mainly picking & packing, severnside was basically taking white paper off cardboard cones through a panel saw machine. The last job at multi graphics was packing & trimming banners ready for stitching this was my last agency job in June 2012.
Machine Operator at Von roll isola (1992-01 – 2006-02)
At this job, I made fibre glass wedges for electric motors, that was my main job, I also did some cablosam slitting, fireproof material wrapped around wire in electrical cables. I also did some CNC work, operation of lathes, guillotine & panel saws, other jobs too
Supermarket Assistant at Morrisons (1987-10 – 1991-01)
I was a drink & cordial stock control operative responsible for ordering, replenishing & rotation of stock.
