I am a post-graduate student with experience in software development, teaching, technical consulting, and customer service. I have also learnt about machine learning, data visualisation, data warehouses, and many other subjects. I am currently finishing off my final MSc project: The Research and Analysis of Cryptocurrency Prediction Capabilities, that uses algorithms such as xLSTM. My current goal currently is to secure a job in the technology or teaching sectors, and finish my MSc degree.
I have gained experience in teaching, technical consulting, and customer service.
Experience in teaching at Shapeways.io and technical consultancy at Kingston University enhanced my communication with technical concepts. I learnt and taught the fundamentals of web development, in a collaborative environment and improved my teamwork. Working as a consultant for a qualified therapist who hired the university for consultancy, I significantly honed my critical thinking and gained some client interaction expertise.
With my previous work experience in retail and catering, I learned to be adaptable, with no training, and often covered for absent peers. I grew to be articulate, and confident as it was essential for providing excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork. I continue to strive to improve in these areas.
During my Master’s degree, I developed monkeypox prediction models with machine learning, investigated how people feel about fully electric vehicles with NLP, analysed the best-selling manga using data visualisation, and created a data warehouse schema for COVID-19 case monitoring. I am currently working on a project where I will develop a cryptocurrency prediction model using the new xLSTM algorithm. My proficiency with Python and R in combination with tools such as Google Colab and RStudio will make me a great candidate to work with.
